Bus Accident Settled for $150,000

Attorney Samer Habbas resolved a bus accident case against Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Agency for $150,000.00.  Client was a front seat passenger of the bus when the bus driver suddenly slammed the brakes, causing her to fall forward.  The bus did not make any contact with any vehicles.  As a result, the client suffered a partial compression fracture to the thoracic spine.  LAMTA initially refused to settle the claim.  Attorney Habbas filed a lawsuit and after extensive litigation was able to resolve the case in mediation for $150,000.00.
