Adam Kocaj is a skilled personal injury attorney and trial lawyer at the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates with an outstanding track record. Adam was born and raised in Michigan and received his bachelor’s degree in business/pre-law from Michigan State University in 2008. He was passionate about becoming a personal injury attorney and moved on to excel at law school, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State College of Law in 2011.

During Adam’s first year of law school, he was awarded the Jurisprudence Award for achieving the highest grade in his Research, Writing, and Advocacy class. After graduating, he started his legal career in Michigan before moving to California, and is now licensed to practice law in both states.

He loves his job, and has always been motivated by a need to help people. His practice focuses on ensuring everyone has access to the legal help guidance they need, providing top-quality support for victims of negligence.

Adam’s results speak for themselves. He has resolved more than 800 cases, recovering more than $20 million on behalf of his clients.

While he primarily focuses on personal injury claims including car crashes, motorcycle accidents, dog bite wounds, and much more, Adam also has extensive experience litigating the enforceability of arbitration clauses and consumer protection laws.

Adam combines compassion with skill and experience, helping those who have suffered injuries themselves, as well as those who have lost a loved one to an accident involving negligence.

He has also found success for his clients at the appellate level in elder abuse and arbitration law.

Personal Life

Adam is married to his best friend and wife Brenda, and is the proud father of two young girls, Ella and Charlie. Growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Adam has been playing ice hockey since he was three years old and is an avid sports fan. He enjoys being with his family, playing hockey, mountain biking, investment trading, and gardening.
