Dev Das – Associate Attorney
Before becoming a lawyer, Dev Das worked as a union organizer for the better part of a decade, helping hotel workers, janitors, security guards, airport workers, teachers, homecare workers and many others win hard-fought campaigns to improve working conditions. His passion for advocacy inspired him to study law at Loyola Law School, where he completed a concentration in Civil Litigation and Trial Advocacy while clerking for unions and labor-side law firms.
After earning his law degree, Das practiced civil rights, personal injury, and labor and employment law with a renowned Los Angeles trial firm, where he specialized in prosecuting high-profile wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases against public entities. In 2020, Das was selected by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 plaintiff’s attorney.
For Das, the practice of law is more than a job, it is a vocation and a calling. He is passionate about helping his clients obtain justice, no matter the odds. He is proud to bring his wealth of experience to the Law Offices of Samer Habbas as an associate. In his spare time, Das enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking.
