Local news agencies have reported a truck accident in the Riverside area Tuesday that left two individuals with serious injuries.
The accident happened at about 1:00 in the morning at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Calabash Avenue in Fontana. The Fontana community, east of the Los Angeles metro area, is just above highway 10 from central Riverside.
The specific details are scant, but California Highway Patrol officers spoke to local reporters about two passengers in a sedan trapped in their car after a collision with a large truck. Reports indicated that first responders used the Jaws of Life to cut the two riders from the vehicle, and they were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of a range of injuries.
