A 36-year-old woman was heading down the road in a 2004 Ford Expedition SUV when she hit the side of the LA Metro bus. The force of the impact left severe damage to the side of the bus and pushed it toward the curb.First responders were called to the scene of the collision to help all of the victims. Six people were taken to local area hospitals to receive treatment. Another two people were so severely injured that they ended up dying.Police suspect that drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the crash. The driver involved has been charged with numerous crimes, including murder and DUI.This crash happened just a few hours before three people were killed in a Chatsworth helicopter accident.
