Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Crash on 210 Freeway in Fontana

A man suffered serious injuries in a car crash on the 210 Freeway west of Citrus Avenue in Fontana. According to the California Highway Patrol, on January 20, 2017 at approximately 9:50 a.m., for unknown reasons, Shawn Faley was pushing (from behind) a 2003 Ford in the number four slow lane on the eastbound 210 Freeway, east of Interstate 15. At the same time, Raymond Perez was driving a 2011 Isuzu box truck in the number 4 lane at approximately 50 mph, approaching Faley. Perez was not able to stop before he crashed into Faley and the Ford he was pushing.

Faley was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center via ambulance. He suffered serious injuries to both of his legs.
