In 34th Place: Motorcyclist v. Auto Driver

Managing Partner Samer Habbas secured a $2,250,000 settlement for a motorcyclist injured in Los Angeles. The client was hit by a car making an illegal left turn. In 62nd Place: $1million Rideshare v at-fault driver

Managing Partner Samer Habbas of the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates secured a $1,000,000 settlement for a rideshare driver rear-ended and pushed into another vehicle. The client suffered severe shoulder and back injuries, requiring surgery. Habbas obtained $100,000 from the at-fault carrier and $900,000 from the client’s underinsured motorist policy, resolving the case efficiently without arbitration.

In 76th Place: $875k Patient v nursing home

Our client entered a Los Angeles Skilled Nursing Facility for short-term rehab but ended up staying three years due to neglect. She contracted sepsis and pneumonia from an untreated stage 3 pressure ulcer. Despite the facility denying her injuries, ICU records confirmed them. Samer Habbas secured $875,000, rejecting an initial $50,000 offer.

In 81st Place: 785k Plaintiff v dog owner

Managing Partner Samer Habbas secured a $785,000 settlement for a client bitten by a rescue dog during a meet and greet. The client suffered facial injuries, requiring 30 stitches. The rescue denied liability, but Habbas proved negligence in handling and training the dog.

In 84th Place: 750k Pedestrian v minibus

Managing Partner Samer Habbas secured a $750,000 settlement for a client hit by a minibus in Daly City. The client, injured in a marked crosswalk, needed shoulder surgery. In 87th Place: Gary Wong auto driver v pickup truck driver

Starting the weekend off right with a $700,000 settlement by Associate Attorney Gary M. C. Wong!

His client was driving on the freeway when the Defendant, an inebriated driver operating a freightliner and traveling on the opposite side of the freeway, collided with another vehicle in a head-on collision, causing debris to disburse onto our client’s direct path of travel.

Even though no impact occurred between the vehicles and our client’s vehicle only sustained minor damages to its undercarriage as a result, Gary was able to obtain this high 6-figure settlement during pre-litigation and maximize our client’s recovery above its normal case value.

In 90th Place: 600k Gonzalez, et al guerra & gutierrez mortuary

Samer Habbas and his team secured a $600,000 settlement against a negligent mortuary. The mortuary mistakenly placed the wrong body in a casket, leaving the clients’ loved one in a freezer. Initially offered $85,000, Habbas filed a lawsuit and achieved a fair settlement through discovery, depositions, and mediation.
