Samer Habbas Secures $600,000 for a Funeral Home Negligence Case

​Samer Habbas and his dedicated team recently achieved a significant $600,000 settlement in a case involving a negligent mortuary that was entrusted with the funeral arrangements of our clients’ beloved family members. Despite our clients’ explicit instructions for a closed casket wake followed by a cemetery ceremony for the burial, a tragic sequence of events unfolded. Approximately 13 days after the initial service, our clients received the devastating news that the mortuary had mistakenly placed the wrong body in the casket. Their loved one tragically remained in the mortuary’s freezer. Our clients had to endure yet another funeral service to finally lay their loved one to rest.
