The plaintiff was experiencing mechanical issues with his vehicle, which led him to pull his vehicle over to the side of the road. While he was at a complete stop, the plaintiff was abruptly rear-ended by an airport SuperShuttle. The impact caused the plaintiff to sustain neck and shoulder injuries resulting in cervical fusion neck surgery and shoulder surgery.

Supershuttle denied responsibility for this accident and argued that our client’s injuries were not caused by this collision and were pre-existing in nature. Habbas filed suit against SuperShuttle and underwent a very aggressive litigation strategy, including multiple depositions and a very thorough inspection of the SuperShuttle vehicle. As a result of Habbas’ approach, the case settled without trial in the amount of $750,000.
