Samer Habbas Achieves $200,000 on a Day Care Premises Liability Case
Riverside, Calif. — Senior Partner, Samer Habbas, of the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates settled a premises liability case against the University of California, Riverside (UCR) for $200,000. Habbas represented an 18-month-old child who was placed in the UCR day care by his parents. As the child was walking up to a gate, the door abruptly clasped closed on the child’s fingers.
The incident caused the child to suffer a fracture to his finger. After a close investigation, it was found that the gate was not compliant with Code. Using a strongly built argument through intensive negotiations, Habbas was able to obtain justice for his client in the amount of $200,000.
