Kacey’s passion for advocacy extends far outside the courtroom. Through school assemblies and community outreach, she has presented to tens of thousands of students, educators, and families on predator awareness, anti-bullying, the power of words, and the importance of reporting abuse. She co-founded the nonprofit Women Wonder Writers and has served on the boards of multiple charitable organizations aimed at ending abuse. As an advocate for youth, Kacey has developed innovative programs and authored unique curriculum centered on youth empowerment, healthy cathartic outlets, and abuse awareness. She currently mentors youth in the community, serves as a volunteer hearing officer for Youth Court, and teaches female empowerment and literary classes at Juvenile Hall.
Kacey’s dedication to public safety and survivor advocacy has earned her numerous accolades, including the Excellence in Public Safety Award, Community Hero Award, Chief Probation Officer’s Award, District Attorney Leadership Award, Special Prosecutions Prosecutor of the Year Award, and recognition by the Riverside County Office of Education for her outstanding support and collaboration in promoting a safe and secure learning environment.
