Todd P. Drakeford, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Samer Habbas with a focus on Personal Injury, Premises Liability, and Complex Civil Litigation. With seven years of legal experience, Todd is a seasoned advocate dedicated to representing clients with compassion and tenacity. He is a graduate of the University of California – Irvine where he obtained his bachelors in History.
Before attending law school, Mr. Drakeford worked as a paralegal. First as volunteer assisting in the Superior Courts Self-Help Center. Later in the litigation department of one of the nation’s premier Intellectual Property firms.
He subsequently obtained his law degree from Western State College of Law, where he was a recipient of a Merit Scholarship, Dean’s List Honors, and graduating with Scholastic Merit distinction. A former litigation paralegal, Mr. Drakeford decided to focus his studies in trial preparation and dispute resolution.
Following law school, Mr. Drakeford developed a strong litigation based background in Landlord-Tenant Law, Warranty Law, Construction Defect, as well as Personal Injury actions including handling high-exposure defense matters. Since transitioning to the plaintiff’s side, he has secured favorable results for his clients in the millions of dollars.
Mr. Drakeford is admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal Court in the Eastern District of California, the U.S. Central District of California, as well as all courts in the State of California.
