Shocking Tour Bus Crash On the 210 Freeway in Irwindale: A Reminder of the Danger of Buses

Although it is still too early for authorities to tell how the bus overturned, witnesses state that the bus was going approximately 70 mph when the driver slammed on the brakes and caused the bus to land on its side. The passengers, who were mostly elderly, landed on top of each other.

Bystanders and emergency crew were able to pull out the passengers as quickly as possible. A total of 55 people were injured and seven people were taken by helicopter to local hospitals.
