personal injury attorneyKTLA News reported that up to 100 participants required hospitalization during the Electric Daisy Carnival rave held June 25-26 at the Los Angeles Coliseum, many for drug-related conditions. There was at least one fatality arising from the event. Sasha Rodriguez, age 15, died from what officials are saying was a drug-related accident. Emergency personnel transported her to a local hospital in a comatose condition, and she remained in a coma until her death on June 29. Experts said that the cause of death was an overdose of Ecstasy, a mood-altering drug frequently used at rave events. Officials are investigating how the minor gained entrance into an event with an official age limit of 16 years and up.
