Samer Habbas & Associates Donate a Portion of Case Earnings to a Local Women’s Shelter

Los Angeles, Calif. — The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates have donated a portion of their earnings from a recent sexual assault settlement to the East Los Angeles Women’s Center (ELAWC). 

The ELAWC is a non-profit organization that provides women, girls, and their families affected by sexual violence and abuse with the proper resources for health services and social support. ELAWC offers crisis intervention via a bilingual 24-hour hotline, accompaniment services to local hospitals, community outreach, counseling, prevention education, and community health worker training.

In an effort to not only give back to the community, but the leading attorney on the case, Samer Habbas also wanted to put his portion of the settlement towards helping survivors of sexual abuse and violence. Habbas’ contribution to the ELAWC will help give thousands of survivors across Los Angeles County access to life-changing services.
