Pedestrian Accident in San Gabriel Settles for $250,000

San Gabriel, Calif. — The attorneys at the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates secured a $250,000 settlement on a pedestrian accident case. The plaintiff was walking across an intersection when they were suddenly struck by an oncoming vehicle.

From thorough examination, doctors found the plaintiff sustained a subdural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage and multiple fractures in her ribs, back and right ankle. The extent of her injuries led to multiple rounds of surgery.
The at-fault driver neglected to examine the crosswalk for any pedestrians before passing through. With an official police report containing statements from our client, the negligent party and another witness, the evidence showed no argument on liability.
